KONG Naturals Incline Cat Scratcher Review

Carmine: Mes wonders what came in my Chewy box this month...

We enjoy being part of the Chewy Blogger Outreach Program because we get to try out new cat products each month.  This month I selected the KONG Naturals Incline Cat Scratcher for Carmine and Milita to try out.

Carmine: Hmmm....what do we has here?

Every cat needs to scratch.  Scratching pads and posts provide kitties an appropriate place to scratch.  In my opinion, every cat needs multiple scratching pads and posts throughout the house.

Key benefits of the KONG Naturals Cat Scrather are:
  • It comes in three sizes: Single Scratcher - 19.25 x 4.5 x 1.5 inches.  Double Scratcher - 19.25 x 8.88 x 1.5 inches.  Incline Scratcher - 19.25 x 7.5 x 1.5 inches.
  • Eco-friendly material is used made with renewable resources.
  • Provides an appropriate and fun place for your cat to scratch.
Each scratcher comes with a double-sided scratch pad, so you can get twice the use out of each one!

The scratcher came with a little bag of catnip to sprinkle on it.  So far, Carmine has been more interested in eating the catnip off the scratcher than actually scratching it.  I was a little surprised by this because Carmine loves scratchers.

However, he and Lita have never had an incline scratcher before, so it might just take him a little time to get used to the new shape.  Carmine and Milita's scratchers have always been horizontal or vertical ones.  I'm going to try putting this scratcher in a new location to see if that encourages him to try it out.

Though, he did give it a test scratch.

If your kitty enjoys inclined scratching pads and posts, I'd definitely recommend the KONG Naturals Incline Cat Scratcher.

Don't forget that you can get many cat supplies like litter, food, treats, and toys at Chewy.com.  All orders of $49 or more ship for free, too!

  1. If we had one of those here, we'd be scratching it to show who it belonged to!

  2. Nope, I don't like cardboard scratchers although if your cats like cardboard, you can try putting it the other way so it's almost standing up.

  8. Mudpie has a flat scratcher that she uses everyday so I bet she'd like an inclined one too!

  10. I've never tried an inclined scratcher but I'm seeing more and more of them. My kitties like the vertical scratching posts and the scratcher in the middle of the turbo scratcher. And the furniture sometimes. LOL

  11. Our cats all seem to prefer carpeted things. Bill is re-doing our cat tree this Spring. They love that old thing.

  12. It's good to have a variety of scratchers- posts and flat. It certainly has helped us provide alternatives to the ever popular arm of the couch!
We love Chewy- great customer service.
