ZiwiPeak Daily-Cat Cuisine Lamb Canned Cat Food Review

FTC Disclosure: As part of the Blogger Outreach Program, we received some ZiwiPeak Daily-Cat Cuisine Lamb Canned Cat Food for a fair and honest review.  Receiving the food did not influence my (or Milita's) opinion in any way.  All opinions expressed on Fur Everywhere are our own.

Hi everyone, it's Milita again today!  Remember that yummy food I told you I got to try on Monday?  Well, I'm here to tell you all about it today.

This month, the Mom chose ZiwiPeak Daily-Cat Cuisine Lamb Canned Cat Food for me to try.  The Mom likes that the food comes in a few non-fish flavors, including lamb, venison, and beef.  It also comes in venison & fish for kitties who can eat fish.

You are probably wondering why Carmine didn't try the food, too.  The Mom doesn't want to give him anything new food-wise until his tummy is doing better.  He still seems to be in some pain and/or nauseous some days, and she doesn't want to risk upsetting his tummy.  She is working diligently with our new vet to figure out a good solution for him.

Anyway....the ZiwiPeak Lamb Canned Cat Food is made with real lamb from New Zealand.  It contains a minimum of 66% raw meat, and it's grain-free.  The lamb food also contains glucosamine and chondroitin, two minerals that help kitties' joints stay healthy.

A few other benefits of ZiwiPeak Lamb Canned Cat Food include:

  • A higher fat content, which is beneficial for cats who need extra energy or are recovering from injury.
  • This food is an easy way to add extra moisture to your cat's diet.
  • The food is suitable for cats at all life stages.
The ingredients in the ZiwiPeak Lamb Canned Cat Food include: lamb meat (includes up to 3% finely ground bone), lamb liver, tripe, lung New Zealand green-lipped mussel lecithin, agar-agar, kelp, and taurine.  It includes the vitamins thiamine mononitrate, niacin supplement, vitamin E supplement, calcium, pantothenate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, riboflavin supplement, biotin, vitamin B12 supplement, vitamin D2 supplement, and folic acid.  It includes the minerals tricalcium phosphate, potassium chloride, calcium carbonate, choline chloride, magnesium proteinate, iron proteinate, zinc proteinate, manganese proteinate, copper proteinate, magnesium proteinate, sodium selenite, and calcium iodate.

But what did I think about it?

Milita eats some ZiwiPeak Lamb Canned Cat Food.

Note the orange leg in the background?  I think some orange cat was jealous....and he should be because this food is really delicious!!  I really loved it; I gobbled it all down and wanted some more.

Don't worry - Carmine did get to enjoy a tasty meal, too (just not MY delicious ZiwiPeak)!

You can find all of the ZiwiPeak canned cat food formulas on  The lamb formula I tried is currently on sale for $32.99 for 12 6-ounce cans.  Don't forget - you always get free shipping on orders of $49 or more, too.

  2. Sounds interesting and tasty. Thanks for the good review.

  3. That does sound yummy. Soft purrs to Carmine that his tummy feels better soon.

  4. This sounds like tasty stuff, but a little bit pricey! My human says that we kitties cost more to feed than she does! (And I think she is right about that, actually!)

  5. I don't remember if I've tried lamb or not, but it sounds pretty tasty!

  6. I am glad you like the food. My cats loved the venison. I hope Carmine feels better soon.

  7. Well, how yummy and nutritious that sounds...but like Summer said, its pricy...about 50% more than what meowmy feeds Minko.

We have tried some venison cat food, duck, and rabbit...all rejected, and they were about $3 a 6oz can...

    1. We might add, that Minko gets a grain free noms, and that carrageenan junk is not in it, hooray!

  8. Sounds yummy. We have some to try this weekend.

  9. That sure does sound yummy, Milita! And we can see you loved it! :)
