Milita: Why do you feed Carmine whenever he demands food but not me?
The Mom: Your brother needs to regain some of the weight he lost when he got so sick. Now that we know he has chronic pancreatitis, we are working on finding the best combination of medications to make his tummy feel good. It is a very good sign when your brother is hungry, so that's why I drop whatever I am doing to feed him when he says he's hungry. Besides, I always give you a little snack when he eats, don't I? :)
Milita: Yeah, I always get a snack when he eats, it's true. Still, I wish I could demand food and always get it, MOL!
Carmine: I really like plastic. Why won't you let me eat it?
The Mom: I know how much you love plastic, Carmine, but it is not good for you. That's why I don't let you eat it. And that's why I always hide all the plastic bags in the closet. There are much tastier things for you to eat here, like your delicious canned food and kibbles.
Carmine: The canned noms are pretty tasty. If the plastic really isn't good for mes, then mes thanks yous for hiding it from mes!
Milita: Why do you have to get out that noisy monster? It's so scary!
The Mom: That noisy monster is called a vacuum. It cleans the dirt off the carpets. Getting the dirt off the carpets helps me keep you healthy. I do wish they made a quiet vacuum so it didn't scare you so much, though.
Carmine: Why are you always bothering us with the flashy box?
The Mom: I love taking a lot of photos of you and your sister because you are both so adorable and I love you. I want a lot of photos to remind me of all of our great times together for years and years to come. Plus all of your friends love seeing photos of you here on the blog, on Facebook, and on Twitter.
