Handsome Harvey Seeks His Second Chance: Opt to Adopt

Harvey

MaxFund
Denver, CO

Harvey was adopted with his brother, Waldo, as a kitten.  Unfortunately, his owner lost his home and was no longer able to care for him, so he wound up back at MaxFund.  Harvey is a sweet boy who loves people.  He is mellow and loves to play with tennis balls.  Harvey even lived with some cat-friendly dogs.  Younger children scare him a little, but he does well with older loving kids.  He is also comfortable living with other kitties.

Harvey is an older brown tabby mancat who has tested positive for FIV.  Please don't let that stop you from falling in love with him.  FIV+ cats can live long, happy lives, and the virus cannot be transmitted to humans or dogs.  FIV is only transmitted to other cats through penetrating bite wounds; other cats will not contract the virus from casual contact.

If you're not ready to adopt sweet Harvey into your home, he is also available to foster.  Through the foster program, his medical needs would be taken care of through the MaxFund Wellness Center.

Please stop by the shelter, located at 720 W. 10th Avenue in Denver, CO or call MaxFund at 303-595-4917 to learn more about this handsome mancat.
