Opt to Adopt Niven

Niven

MaxFund
Denver, CO

Niven is a handsome black and white kitty hoping to find his forever home.  Someone found him wandering the streets of Denver and brought him to the shelter.  Niven had a nasty neck wound (poor kitty!) that is almost healed now.

According to his profile, when Niven needed to be caged, he talked to the volunteers and staff a lot, asking for attention.  If they opened his cage door, he would rub against their hand and purr happily.  Now that he is able to roam around in his room, he is also friendly with his kitty roommates.  He likes his roommate Kismet, especially.  Sometimes they curl up near each other for cat naps, and other times they enjoy playing together.

Niven is a senior mancat who has tested positive for FIV.  FIV+ cats can live long, happy lives.  His ideal home would be with another FIV+ cat or one in which he is the only cat.

You can visit Niven at MaxFund, located at 720 W. 10th Avenue in Denver, CO.  You can also learn more about Niven by contacting the shelter at 303-595-4917.
