Opt to Adopt Mel

Mel

Angels with Paws
Lakewood, CO

This handsome orange and white mancat is seeking a safe loving place to call home.  According to his profile, Mel is a very sweet cat who loves and craves attention.  He loves being pet, getting head scratches, and being brushed.  He also loves playing.

Mel is nine years old.  He is listed as a special needs cat because he has a nervous habit of overgrooming himself.  He is getting better about that, though.

In his former home, Mel was repeatedly attacked by another cat.  Thus, Mel would do best in a home where he is either the only cat or with other docile cats who won't try to dominate or attack him.  Angels with Paws isn't sure how he would get along with children or dogs, but they think a home with calm, cat-friendly, older children or a cat-friendly dog who will leave him alone may be okay.  Mel would really like to find a safe and loving home.

Please call Angels with Paws at 303-274-2264 for more information or visit with Mel at the shelter, located at 2540 Youngfield St. in Lakewood, CO.
