Mancat Monday

Mes ams waiting for Santa Paws...do you think he will come?

The Mom says mes is spending too much time in my pink cube again.  Mes thinks hers is just silly!  The Mom is worried mes is depressed (for several weeks now).  Hers is not sure what to do.  Hers is hoping that Catmus might cheer mes up a little.

Right now, mes is in my pink cube, but the Mom dragged it out here in the living room so mes is by hers while hers writes this.

Will you please tell the Mom not to worry so much?

  1. Carmine, maybe the pink cube is just comfy. If you are eating and drinking and going to the litter box, you are probably just fine. You all have a great day and a very Merry Christmas.

  2. We think that you've always loved that pink cube and when Jewel had it, you couldn't use it. Now you can. You look pretty comfy there.

  3. Our Mommy worries when we change our habits, too. We hope you're just finding your pink cube nice and cozy during these winter nights.

  4. It's fun sometimes to change what you do Carmine and it keeps the Mom's on their toes.

  5. I agree with the others, maybe you are just too darn comfy in there so why move. Do give Mom a hint though if there is a real problem. Oh yes, Santa will be looking for you so you may want to put up a sign.

  8. Sweet Carmine - you do look a little sad. We've seen that look with Charlie too, and IBD kitties can unfortunately suffer from depression. Please tell your Mum to email us if she wants to talk about IBD - we're happy to help in any way that we can.

  9. Awww Carmine, you look sad and uncertain. I'm thinking that you miss Jewel, especially as she probably taught you alot (including cat secrets) and told you what to do (or not do). With your mom's support, I know you'll feel better and find your way. It's okay to be sad - just know that we are all thinking good thoughts for you.

  11. I understand Carmine. I sleep in all the places that were Eric's favourites. It takes a long time for the sadness to go away.

  14. Hoping that you're just enjoying some alone time in the cube and not because you're not well......a guy has to have a special spot to think - right? Catmas will cheer you up I'm sure!
