On Tuesday, I went to Cat Care Society to get Jewel's kidney medications for her daddy. She will be taking Bupenorphine and Epakitin twice a day. Bupenorphine is a pain medication and Epakitin is something that binds to phosphorus to prevent further damage to her kidneys. But that's all I really know about them. Does anyone else know anything about these meds? Do they work well?
Jewel has been getting some k/d kibbles and wet food and her daddy says she likes it. Yay!! :)
I missed a few bloggies and I need to go back and see about Jewel. Thank goodness she likes her K/D diet.

ReplyDeleteOh gosh, we don't know anything about those medicines. We are just glad we got doctors and people and medicines that can help and fix :-) We been purring for sweet Jewel, and will keep the purrs going.
